The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is running the AKS Hanmun Fellowship to foster the balanced development of Korean Studies by enhancing the Hanmun skills of next-generation scholars of Korean Studies from overseas. AKS is recruiting participants for the Hanmun Fellowship program in 2025.

○Program Duration
-︎1st Session (Beginner Level): March 4, 2025 - June 20, 2025 (16 weeks)
-︎2nd Session (Advanced Level): September 1, 2025 - December 19, 2025 (16 weeks)
○Eligibility
-︎Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Korean Studies at overseas universities (including master's and Ph.D. programs).
-︎(Korean nationals are excluded. Graduates are ineligible, but students who have completed their coursework are eligible.)
-︎Korean language proficiency is required as the program will be conducted in Korean.
○Application Period: Monday, September 9, 2024 - Friday, October 11, 2024

○Result Announcement: Thursday, October 31, 2024. Notifications will be sent via individual email.
