1. Amb. Noh Kyu-duk, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, had a telephone conversation with Amb. Sung Kim, U.S. Acting Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, on the morning of February 10.
2. In
the phone conversation, the two sides exchanged views on ways for the two
countries to work together to make progress in achieving complete
denuclearization and establishing permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula, and
agreed to continue intensive consultations at each level between the two
countries, including in the process of the U.S.’ review of its policy toward
North Korea.
