1. The Foreign Ministry held the launching ceremony of the 13th group of “collegian supporters for safe overseas travel” at the Ministry on November 4.

2. At the ceremony, Ambassador for Overseas Koreans and Consular Affairs Han Dong-man asked the supporters to contribute to efforts to raise the safety awareness of Korean travelers abroad, while communicating more closely with the public in new, original ways in that regard.

3. For four months from November, the supporters will carry out various and original promotional activities on safe overseas travel in a bid to provide relevant information to the public. Among the activities will be producing relevant user-created contents (UCCS), conducting campaigns at Incheon International Airport, and holding “talk concerts” with foreigners.
